Position Summary: Performs a wide variety of software quality assurance and testing activities Position Responsibilities: 1. Develop an understanding of the scope of the project through involvement with the Client, Business Development Manager and/or Project Manager at the needs analysis stage and/or requirements gathering stage. 2. Conduct requirements gathering meeting and an analysis of technical requirements to achieve project objectives. 3. Work with the technology team to design and/or review use cases and storyboards if required. 4. Write the functional specification documents 5. Ensure the final product meets the requirements and specification of the client by conducting quality assurance testing 6. Create test plans 7. Execute software test plans including component testing, integration testing, systems testing, regression testing, performance testing and stress testing. 8. Maintain documentation of test results. 9. Test bug fixes and enhancements. 10. Enhance deliverability testing and implementation processes 11. Participate in the software design to advise of common errors and high-risk areas, suggest designs that facilitate testing, and look for opportunities to automate. 12. Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Skills and Abilities: Detail oriented with ability to work independently and in team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills and a commitment to communicate clearly, completely and in a timely manner. Good personal work ethic and organization skills with a commitment to follow through. Proven ability to organize time effectively, multi-task, determine priorities, meet deadlines and move work forward. 1-2 years experience with web applications within a software test environment. Bachelor's Degree Computer Science/Programming or related field required.
