Position Title:Administrative Assistant
Location:New York City, New York

Position Summary:
Coordinates, oversees, and/or performs a wide variety of support activities and confidential assignments for the CTO.


Position Responsibilities:

1. Provides staff and office support for the CTO, to include screening and handling telephone communications, greeting and directing visitors, and dealing with administrative issues and inquiries as they arise.
2. Serves as a primary point of contact and liaison for the CTO on day-to-day operational and administrative issues.
3. Organizes and facilitates travel arrangements, meetings and special events; schedules and coordinates dates and times, venues, attendance, agendas, and facilities; takes minutes, and provides administrative support and follow up on matters arising from meetings.
4. Composes and prepares written documentation and correspondence for the office; screens and evaluates incoming and outgoing correspondence and prepares responses as appropriate.
5. Exercise independent judgment and discretion in completing assignments and maintaining the office of the CTO.
6. Perform a broad range of complex tasks involving confidential and technical information such as researching and presenting findings, arranging meetings, preparing agendas, and responding to routine correspondence.
7. Demonstrate a high degree of organizational knowledge, leadership, confidence, and professional competence while representing the CTO's office to subordinates and peers.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


Skills and Abilities:

Excellent negotiation skills

Proven ability to organize time effectively, multi-task, determine priorities, meet deadlines and move work forward


Education/Experience:

Minimum five years experience in office administration

BS degree in related field required

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products Benefits:
